Mississippi Released Inmates is privately owned and is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service. The site is not a consumer reporting agency or private investigation firm.
Nature of the Site
This is a private reference service. It stores no official Mississippi custody record and cannot confirm a release, free a person, post bond, or file a government document. It routes users toward county release sources, MDOC offender records, parole and probation resources, and outside research tools.
Acceptable Use
Access is conditioned on lawful, respectful use. A visitor must not:
- break a law or another person's rights
- stalk, threaten, or harass anyone
- use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another restricted decision
- seek unauthorized access to any system
- operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools
- damage the service or interfere with another visitor
No Consumer Reports
The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. The same is true of the services offered through its advertising placements. Users agree not to apply site information to an FCRA-covered purpose, including an employment decision, tenant or housing review, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, government-benefit eligibility, or another regulated use.
Links Outside the Site
Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, jail rosters, county subdomains, government portals, legal resources, and outside search services. Those services are independent. A visitor should review their terms because this site does not endorse or control their content, privacy practices, data handling, or availability.
No Warranties
The site and all content are supplied "as is" and "as available." No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that a partner search will return every relevant record. Custody and public-record data change often. Nothing here is an official statement from a Mississippi government office.
Liability Limits
To the fullest extent Mississippi law permits, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages tied to access, use, inability to use, reliance on content, or an outside service.
User Indemnity

Intellectual Property

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when it is posted, and continued use after posting means acceptance of the revision.
Access Control
Access may be suspended, limited, or ended at any time and without advance notice, including when conduct threatens the site, its users, or its lawful operation.
Mississippi Governing Law
Mississippi law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction within Mississippi.
Severability
If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, that term will be narrowed only as much as needed. All remaining terms stay in effect.
